Kayak design wizard Kenny Mutton did it again. Another excellent boat from Waka is here. It is longer but narrower than the OG, wider and more buoyant than the Billy Goat. With it's cockpit sitting c. 20mm lower in comparison to the Steeze, this boat is super easy to whip around. Is it fast? Yes. Does it skip? Yes. Do you want one? Yes.

The Stoke builds on our favourite parts of Waka’s classic designs. We took the majority of the DNA from the Steeze, the bow is almost the exact shape and design, we slightly tapered the width, and added a nimble and low profile OG-style stern to the mix. What we created is somewhat of a hybrid cross between true steep creeker and big half slice style river runner. The Stoke is very easy and intuitive to paddle, more dynamic than any of our other creek boats, and a boat that you just have to try it to understand.

Jiri Tykal: "So so so good! This boat will tick(le) all the boxes for so many people. Since the Tuna 2 was discontinued there has been a bit of a gap between the smaller boats like Stout & Billy Goat and the bigger ones like the OG & Steeze. Finally there is a boat right in between and it paddles great. It's 9ft long, but it doesn't really feel like it. It's super intuitive, fast and a whole lot of fun."
