You’re not a one-size-fits all adventurer. Neither is the the XPD. It’s the most versatile packraft out there because it’s designed to handle all the rigours of professional use, yet be easy enough for your kids to use.
The XPD is Kokopelli’s rugged, minimalist packraft and perfect for entry-level paddlers, adventure-travel, compact-car camping, and weekend-warriors. We’ve engineered the XPD packraft to be packed with features like our first-in-class reinforced floor system, high-pressure pontoons, or optional Tizip.
Perfect for Lakes – Class 1 water, if you are you someone who doesn’t want to choose which mode of adventure-transportation gets left at home, the rugged XPD is your packraft.
The XPD is exactly the same shape and design as the Rogue-lite. Featuring a moderate trim, slight rocker on the bow, and a large-volume stern which gives it great Flat Water, Lakes – Class 1 handling capability and stability. Combined with the extra-large 12 in (30 cm) diameter pontoons and higher floor-to-sidewall attachment point, the XPD is perfect for ultralight multiday trips with multiple portages.
NOTE: The XPD does not come with the EVA Backband but has the attachment points if you would like to add it. Leaning (chilling) against the stern or your backpack is also comfortable and cool.
Open or “bucket” packrafts are perfect for paddlers wanting to minimise weight. They are great if you are in and out of the packraft and scouting often, or just have zero time for setting up your packraft.
