Three Waves ear protection loss protection string consists of a 0.8 mm thin, tear-resistant, black PES cord, each with two specially shaped plastic retentions (1), which are completely incorporated into the still soft, uncrosslinked silicone material during the ear protection production.
After the silicone compound has crosslinked, the two EPDM rubber disks (2), which are already pre-mounted on the cord, are pushed onto the ear protection surface by pulling cord movements to protect against damage, thus preventing the silicone plug from fraying and tearing out. Finished!
Both earplugs are now permanently connected to each other with the approx. 42 cm long cord and thus secure each other.
Cannot be applied once ear plugs have been moulded.
